How to Use this Site

My name is Jamey Wright and I will be the technical contact for this TAH Resource website. If you need help using the site or getting a browser to work with it, I am your man. If you need help with lesson plans or something like that, I will politely defer to Phil :-)

This site uses the latest technology from Microsoft called Silverlight. When you go to watch a video or look at a photo gallery your browser needs to have the plug in installed. This is a simple process and if you get stuck I can walk you through it. Use the contact form (click the "About" tab and then click the "Contact Us" link to get in touch with me.

Here are some points to consider while using the site:

  • You can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the Deepzoom galleries. It's great fun!
  • The videos may not play if you don't have a fast internet connection. Contact me and let me know if your school is 'too slow' for them. We are considering launching lower resolution versions but only if they are necessary.
  • Add your own photos! Email or call Phil Little and see if we can use your photos from the trip.

Good luck and have a great year Teaching American History!

Great resource site! Could not get to all the pages wanted to show the kids the pictures. As for grant it's the best opportunity that I have ever been afforded, it has help prefect my craft and truly helped me become a better teacher and hopefully a better person.
    Phil this is truly great!!

    Jamey,
Everything looks great - the Silverlight plug-in was easy- just about four clicks and one minute. I hope everybody will take a minuite to install - it's worth it!
